<p>Selling a house is just like going to an interview. The impression that you make to an interviewer usually determines the decision to hire or not. The same is true with selling a home. The first look that the buyer gets will usually influence the final decision of whether to buy or not. In the real estate business, product presentation is a common practice.</p>
<p>Any buyer would naturally like to see a home that is no less than perfect. Thus, when a potential buyer makes his first visit to your home, make sure your lawn is trimmed and well taken cared of. Plant flowers around the walkway or throughout the yard. Your effort will surely go a long way to please the buyer.  Remember, if the eyes are the window to your soul, then the lawn is the show window to what the rest of your home has to offer.</p>
<p>Other than this, you should also make sure that you will have an inviting entrance to your home. Do not take things for granted and assume your buyer will not notice that your front door is in bad shape. For a start, bring in some plants and arrange them in strategic positions, hang some interesting paintings or display rugs on the floor of your hallway. </p>

Then introduce him to the heating or air-conditioning system, the individual bathrooms if there are. Also point out the accessibility of your home to the school, the supermarket or the office and many other important features that will add value and attraction to your property.</p>
